Thanks so much for taking a look at our little shop!

Our photography is centred on Ballycotton Bay and surrounding areas. We are utterly passionate about the sea and we are very much involved in Clean Coasts Ballynamona, East Cork Biodiversity and The Sea and Land Trust.

So you’ll detect a certain theme in our cards and images… 😉

We print only 1 to 20 copies of each image so you can buy knowing that it’s not a mass produced item, it’s special.

We want to promote the beauty of the area but also the importance of its protection. In doing so, we hope, visitors to our shop and our area will feel inspired to enjoy and be responsible around litter, camping, and biodiversity awareness and protection.

There is a lot to love here – and all of it needs our collective care!

This is a unique once-off opportunity to buy one of our favourite limited editions as a aluminium print. Yep! Aluminium. It's stunning.


Measurements: 75cm x 50cms.


So, the story:

The forecast was cloudy, but we headed down to Ardnahinch Beach anyway, cos like, y'never know! The last attempt at capturing the moon (Strawberry) went pretty well! And we met some fellow photographers on the beach - great comradery!

So off we went, it's just down the road, tripods out - another guy was there, a guy Sally'd been following on Instagram and she got a bit starstruck but it was all a good laugh. He talked her out of her cloud pessimism, have faith, have faith.... we were counting the minutes down to 9.50 pm. Watching the horizon like hawks.


Next thing - up popped the feint pink glow of the Buck moon, a supermoon, one of three this summer. And it was mesmerising as it rose, became more clear, dipping in a out of clouds. We all went quiet, all you could hear was the click click click, and the call of a curlew. Nothing else.


We had guests from Holland in our Airbnb and we'd warned them that the moon was due to rise behind the island at 9.50 - and down they came. Gobsmacked. Along came a previous guest whom we'd also alerted.


And we all stared. Fab.


Comes in A4 print size, extra large A3+ print that is housed in a white solid wood box frame (see second pic). Choose your ideal size from the drop down menu and remember you can buy unframed (see lead pic!) if you'd rather a different frame!

Our images are not expensive. It’s not that they don’t take a lot of work – they do!! And we’ve taken care to source plastic free materials and Irish made solid wood frames. We just want you to enjoy what we see as much as we do – we know not everyone is fortunate enough to live by the coast.
