A great rock is not disturbed by the wind; the mind of a wise man is not disturbed by either honour or abuse.Dalai Lama
Story: So we weren't sure how to title this one so Sally took to Facebook's local Ballycotton group to ask for local expertise (which is how we found out what to call The Saltings too by the way!)
Replies were quick (thank you all!) and the literal meaning is Raven's Rock.Because Fiach or Fitheach is Sea Raven, or cormorant. And this rock, as you can imagine, is a favourite perch for local cormorants! Isn't that cool??
An Autumn afternoon this year by Ballycotton harbour gave us this glorious image - long exposure in beautiful autumnal East Cork light - so special!!
Also available as an A4 and A3+ framed print - as aways, housed in real wood Irish made box frames for extra luxury - with real glass!
Choose your ideal size from the drop down menu and remember you can buy unframed if you'd rather a different style!
Scroll through the images to see our two new frame sizes A4 and A3+
